History of Torture and Killing: Seeking Insights on Religious Context

Can any Muslim brother provide clarification on this?

The Quran does not simply command killing; some claim it mandates killing with torture. Surah 9, Verse 5 is often cited in this context.

1. Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja was allegedly tortured for over 12 hours before being killed.

2. Captain Saurabh Kalia endured brutal treatment beyond words.

3. Historical figures like Prithviraj Chauhan and Guru Arjan Dev Ji also faced brutal deaths

4. Guru Arjan Dev Ji was reportedly forced to sit on a hot pan while boiling sand was poured over him.

5. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Mati Das, and Bhai Sati Das each met tragic fates, with Bhai Mati Das reportedly sawed in half and Bhai Sati Das boiled in oil.

6. Bhai Dayala Ji was wrapped in cotton and set on fire, while Guru Gobind Ji’s two young sons were reportedly entombed alive.

7. Baba Banda Bahadur was brought to Delhi, where he allegedly endured skinning, and his own child’s heart was said to be placed in his mouth.

This mindset, which fueled such historical atrocities, led to hundreds of Hindus being killed in Kashmir in 1990 through brutal means, and most recently, Ankit Sharma’s death in February 2020, reportedly involving 400 stab wounds inflicted over two hours.
